The pedalling drills workout in week 1 of the “Build Me Up” training program in Zwift is a short half hour work out that introduces two new techniques – single leg intervals, and spin downs.
In single leg intervals the rider alternates from one leg to another, in our case safely tucking our ‘spare’ leg on to the Fram of our Life Fitness IC5.
In spin down intervals the rider will hold a high level of cadence through the interval. -typically 105rpm.
